Tarra — Terms of Service

1. What Tarra does
Tarra prepares German EPR (VerpackG) packaging data from a merchant's Shopify orders and generates report files (LUCID XML and an evidence CSV) that the merchant submits themselves.
2. What Tarra is not
Tarra is not legal advice and is not an authorized representative, dual system, or registration service. Tarra does not register with LUCID or submit reports to any authority on a merchant's behalf. The accuracy and submission of any EPR declaration are the merchant's sole responsibility.
3. Merchant responsibilities
- Provide accurate packaging profiles and product mappings.
- Review generated reports before submission.
- Comply with all applicable EPR and data protection obligations.
4. Data protection
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Tarra acts as a processor on the merchant's behalf and applies data minimization, encryption, and deletion on uninstall.
5. Subscription & billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API according to the tier selected in the app. Charges are managed by Shopify.
6. Warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tarra is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the outcome of any regulatory filing made by the merchant.
7. Changes & termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to installed merchants. On uninstall, all shop data is deleted.
